Jubilation For Arsenal As Arteta Gets Another Good News

While he is already making some headway on his January transfer targets, there is more reason to be happy for Mikel Arteta at Arsenal as the injury worries plaguing the London club is abating gradually.



Arsenal’s defense has been a major concern as a number of first team players are down with one form of injury or the other; a development that has forced Arteta to deploy players like Bukayo Saka out of position.

Now there is jubilation for the Gunners as some of their injured players are nearing comeback and could be in action sooner rather than later.


Top of the list of those that would soon be available for selection is centre-back, Sokratis who will be assessed by the Gunners' medical staff ahead of FA Cup fourth-round tie with Eddie Howe's side

Sokratis is back in full training for Arsenal after missing Tuesday's 2-2 draw with Chelsea in the Premier League due to illness.

Arsenal have also given positive updates on Sead Kolasinac who is down with a thigh injury as well as Reiss Nelson (hamstring) and who are both set to return to training during the winter break period after Arteta's side face Burnley on February 2.
