Solskjaer blasts Klopp over comment made ahead of Liverpool EPL clash with Man United on Sunday

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has slammed Jurgen Klopp over boring comment made ahead of Liverpool Premier League encounter against Manchester United at Anfield on Sunday evening.

The German tactician's side remains unbeaten in the league this season and have only dropped points once this campaign when they drew 1-1 with Red Devils at Old Trafford earlier this season but former Borussia Dortmund manager has accused this weekend visiting team them of being a team that only defends.

However, Solskajer men will make a trip to Merseyside on Sunday as the Norwegian coach responded by claiming Klopp's comments showed he has got under his skin he said via Mirror: "I don't think it's an accusation,”  

"I take it as a compliment, that we've defended so well.

"When the opposition manager is frustrated, that's a good sign our boys have done well.

"I think we've been closest to winning both games against Liverpool, so I don't know what the problem has been.”

Manchester United are currently fifth in the division and know another win at Anfield is crucial in their fight to secure a top-four finish this season.
