However, it’s hard to tell whether Guardiola is genuinely in awe or just being a sore loser.


Pep Guardiola appears to be a bit unsettled at how far Liverpool are from his side, which is something we can glean from his press conference.




“We have nearly as many points as Real Madrid and Barcelona.

That is not a problem. Our problem is that there is a team that has 24 wins and one draw from 25 games. Hats off to them.”




Is that genuine respect? Guardiola has shown his admiration for Klopp on several occasions after all. Or is it a slight dig that Liverpool somehow have it easy compared to the reigning champions?
