The cheetah has been revered as the fastest animal in the world for quite a while. Even attempting to get into competition with other animals in it's race class as well as humans or machine like planes and cars.





But over time the reception of these facts have begun to change. A lot of people used to convince me as a child that the cheetah was surely the fastest animal and I believed because apparently, some cheetahs run so fast they trip of their own legs, like flash or zoom (cartoon superheroes).






So what exactly is the fastest animal in the world? It's a bird.


Ladies and gentlemen I present to you.
The Peregrine Falcon.










So, the cheetah ran at a top speed of 125KM/H or the rate of a car starting to get a little fast while they might not be cars that move as fast as the peregrine falcon.

In a Nose dive this bird could reach speeds of 325KM/H.

That is scary fast. At least a solid 200km faster than the cheetah.
