"You Are a Fool" NairaBet CEO, Akin Alabi, Blasts CAN President, See Reason Here

A member of the Nigerian House of Representatives and the founder of NairaBet, Honourable Akin Alabi, called the president of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Rev. Samson Ayokunle, a 'fool' after the pastor said the Coronavirus pandemic is caused by sin and disobedience to God.

Akin Alabi made this derogatory comment on his Twitter handle after Punch newspaper reported the pastor's statement of Coronavirus. The CEO of NairaBet quoted the Punch article with the phrase "Another Fool".

The federal lawmaker explained that it is illogical and unreasonable for CAN President to tagged the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic that is currently ravaging the world with grave consequences to sin and disobedience to God.

However, Nigerians on social media have reacted to Akin Alabi's comment. Many lambasted him for using such derogatory words on the respected man of God.
