"We Dont Want Your Gift" - Nigerians Reject Billionaire's Medical Supplies For Corona Virus

Chinese number one billionaire and founder of Alibaba groups, Mr Jack Ma amidst the Corona virus pandemic has donated medical supplies and COVID-19 testing kit to Nigeria from China in the evenings of yesterday.

The package, which contained 5 million face masks, 1.8 million testing kit, 60,000 protective suits and others arrived Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on Monday.

Nigerians all over social media are now making claims that these testing kits are the ones already used in China and they are bringing them here to Nigeria to further spread the virus. Others have even gone as far as rejecting the gift. They said he should have taken them to Italy.

The general manager of Ethiopian Airlines Nigeria has thanked the billionaire in a speech, "We appreciate the donation of the Jack Ma Foundation and the generosity of Jack Ma. We admire Abiy Ahmed, our Prime Minister, for his initiative and organization of the entire coordination of the process".

However, our wonderful Nigerians have come out to say the Chinese intend to spread the virus by sending already used materials to the country. See the screenshots below:


















Personally, I think what billionaire Jack Ma did was an act of kindness and charity. But Nigerians are wonderfully made creatures (*laughs). We react to everything.
