Man City ace makes exciting Mikel Arteta claim as Arsenal fans fume over Premier League decision

The big news from yesterday is that Euro 2020 has officially been postponed.


Uefa have announced that the competition will be pushed back a year to 2021 in order to allow league football across Europe to finish in the summer.

But there are no indications of whether nations will be able to complete their respective seasons.

Gundogan praises Arteta

Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has praised Mikel Arteta's coaching style.

The pair worked together at Manchester City before the 37-year-old - who played a key role in the club's back-to-back Premier League titles - left to replace Unai Emery as Arsenal's head coach in December 2019.

But the City star has nothing put praise for the Gunners boss.

The Germany international has praised Arteta's style of coaching, detailing three key traits which will hold the Gunners boss in good stead for the future.

In a Twitter Q&A, one fan asked Gundogan: 'How was it working with Arteta?'

The 29-year-old responded: 'We've had a very good relationship at ManCity. He's a very empathetic, caring and hard working coach.'
Camavinga transfer message

Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga has caused a stir among Arsenal supporters on social media after posting a picture on Twitter.

The highly-rated teenager has previously been linked with the Gunners after his breakout season in France last year.

With all games in France suspended due to the global coronavirus outbreak, Camavinga took the opportunity to upload a picture on Twitter of himself spending time with his family.

The image showed the 17-year-old sitting in his bedroom playing video games with his brothers, with the caption: 'Enjoy the good times and take care of your families!

'My brother is still young to play fifa. Smiling face with open mouth and cold sweat we know the technique.'

But Arsenal supporters noticed a poster on the wall, which commemorated Rennes' clash with the Gunners last year and fans responded with tweets urging the youngster to move to the Emirates: 'Come to Arsenal,' and 'Another French Arsenal fan? Wenger’s influence is unmatched.'

Arsenal and Man United fans fume at Premier League decision

It's not often that Arsenal and Man United supporters are on the same page.

But an announcement made by the Premier League has seen fans of the rival clubs join forces to express just how angry they are with Sean Dyche being named manager of the month for February.

This is after guiding Burnley to a four-game unbeaten run last month.

Unsurprisingly this has prompted a big reaction from Arsenal and Man United fans on social media.

Many have taken to Twitter to suggest their respective head coaches have been 'robbed' of the award, and others simply laughing at the Premier League decision.
Paul Merson's sympathy for Liverpool

Former Arsenal star Paul Merson, writing in his Sky Sports column, believes voiding the league would be 'a shame' and has compared Liverpool's current predicament to a film.

"It's all well saying Liverpool are 25 points clear, but if I played snooker with my mate tomorrow, and I needed 25 snookers to win, and he said: 'The game has finished, there's no point playing on!' - for the next week or two, I'd be saying: 'But I could have won that!'

"You really feel for them, waiting 30 years for a title. If it was Manchester City 25 points clear, nobody would care! Because they've won it already.

"This team hasn't won it for 30 years! This is like a film.

"I really feel for them; even if you gave them the league now, mathematically it's not won.

"I know they've won it in essence, we all know that, but it's not the same! It's a shame."
