Sadio Mane reacts to death of Pape Diouf

More and more tributes are pouring in after the death of Pape Diouf.

Pape according to reports died after contracting Coronavirus.



Pape Diouf according to the report was being treated in a hospital within Senegal after contracting the deadly virus.

He couldn’t survive it and passed away so bitterly.


So far, Dede Ayew and Jordan Ayew who all played under his watch have paid tribute to him.

The latest person to pay his tribute is Liverpool star player, Sadio Mane.

In an Instagram post, he wrote:

“Dear Pape, The two of us didn’t communicate too much. But you will remain forever in our hearts and our prayers will accompany you for the eternal rest of your soul.
RIP # Pape # Diouf # 🦁”





Mababa “Pape” Diouf was a Senegalese journalist, best known for being the president of French football club Olympique de Marseille between 2005 and 2009. Diouf was born in Abéché, Chad, to Senegalese parents.
