The Republic of Molossia is a micronation and with just a population of 33 people is the lowest populated country in the world.

The origins of Molossia come from a micronation childhood project, called The Grand Republic of Vuldstein, founded by Baugh and James Spielman on May 26, 1977.

The Republic of Molossia was founded in 1977. With a land area is 0.0053 square kilometers which the 33 inhabitants occupy thus making it the least populated country in the world

At the beginning of the establishment, the country was first located in Europe, but later moved to North America for some reasons, and it is now located in the desert region of the state of Wanda in the United States.

It cost Baugh just $10,000 to build Molossia, which sits on 1.3 acres about an hour outside of Reno, Nevada.

Although this country is very small, it claims to have its own independent constitution; although it is located in the desert, it claims to have its own navy, which is similar to the Mongolian navy; in addition, they also have banks, Currency, post office, telecommunications office, etc.

Because of their location in the desert, Molossia has few plants, let alone what kind of crops they can grow. The main source of life is to buy them in towns farther away.

However, because they do not have any country to establish diplomatic relations, they are not recognized by other countries in the world, but their president has always believed that the existence of a country never needs to be recognized by other countries.
