This is the Main Reason why Mesut Ozil Wants to Remain at Arsenal FC

Mesut Ozil has insisted that he will remains at Arsenal FC until the end of his contract which runs till summer of 2021, about 15 months to go. The club tried all possible means to offload Ozil since the start of the season but all was not successful. New Arsenal FC manager and former teammate, Mikel Arteta saved him from possible transfer during the January window.




There is possibility that the club might try again to offload him during summer transfer window, but his agent Dr Sögüt insists the former Germany international will stick to the contract extension he signed in 2018, thereby keeping him in north London until next year.

Ozil refuses to move because of his lucrative wages which is 350,000 pounds -a-week. No other teams are willing to match his wage demand. The World Cup - winning midfielder signed a lucrative new contract at Emirate Stadium in January 2018 during Arsene Wenger era. He has one and half years to spend at the Emirate stadium and Arsenal FC wound have to bear with him till his contract lapses.
