Femi Adesina Says Nigerians Are Lucky To Have Buhari As President, Nigerians Attack Him

The special adviser to the president on media, Mr Femi Adesina once again, has angered Nigerians for saying we are lucky to have President Buhari as our president and that he is leading well.

He made the statement on his twitter page while reacting to a post that was made against him which said Nigeria may break down if things are not handled properly.











A twitter user, @tutsy22 had credited a statement to Adesina which reads: "Femi Adesina the Special Adviser, Media and Publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to the current situation happening in Nigeria, claims that Nigeria may break down if action is not taken".






Adesina denied making such a statement and accused peddlers of such information of trying to sow discord between him and his principal, Muhammed Buhari.

However, his statement did not go down well with some Nigerians calling for his head for making such statements.









Recall Adesina has been enmeshed in several controversial issues surrounding his relationship with Nigerians and his office.

Some time ago he was caught on camera telling Nigerians that the president does not owe Nigerians any obligation to have a media chat with them.






He also said it wasn't Buhari's style to address the citizens.

Adesina's tenure as the presidential adviser has been fraught with so many ugly incidents that portray him as incompetent in handling his office.






Recently, an age-long document resurfaced where he had lashed out at the current presidential chief of staff in the past.

in the said document, Adeshina had lambasted the chief of staff for his role during the Abacha era.

Nigerians have wondered how Adesina will manage his office now he will be working directly with the office of the chief of staff.





In his tweet, Adesina had written: “A quote from mischief-makers is making the rounds, ascribed to me. I just dey laugh.

“I am a Buharist any day, no apologies, and I believe the president and I believe the president is leading the country well. In fact, we are lucky to him at a time like this.

“All attempts to demonize me will fail”
