I Will Sponsor You To Any School Of Your Choice- Seyi Makinde To Children Of Late Commissioner

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde on Monday, told the children of late Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources in the state, Kehinde Ayoola, that he would sponsor them to any institution of their choice around the world.



Makinde said this during an extraordinary executive session held in honour of their late father. The event held at the Government House Main Lodge, Agodi, in Ibadan, the state capital.



It would be recalled that Ayoola passed on last week after a brief illness. Insiders explained that he suffered from cardiac arrest. He was not aware of this condition until his last days on earth.




The late Ayoola was a loyal colleague of Makinde until he passed on. He was in charge of Makinde's governorship campaign in 2015 when he was vying under the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and was the number two campaign director for the Governor in 2019 election.





Everyone who had an interaction with him while living acknowledged his cerebral mien. Governor Seyi Makinde also said this in his condolence message while announcing the passing on of Ayoola.

Kehinde Ayoola left two children behind and Makinde has promised that he would personally shoulder their education. He also hinted that the state would honour their deceased father.
