Nigerians React as man uploaded his picture and said - "I was an almajiri before

Almajiris are children who are abandoned by their parents to go and learn Kuran. Most almajiris do turn to beggars due to a lack of financial assistance. you may see a small boy begging in the street with dirty clothes. Some of these boys usually sleep in the ground because they do not have a place to sleep.

They do not usually wash their clothes, most of their clothes are always smelling and do have patches. Almajiris always hold plates when passing across the street. They do hold their plates to beg for food, some of these boys are too small to undergo this manual labor.

A man identified as @iamshagzy on Twitter had uploaded a picture of himself and said he was an almajiri before.
