Donjazzy, Tiwa Savage, Rita Dominic And MI React To The Arrest Of Dbanj's Accuser, Seyitan

Some weeks ago, a lady by the name Seyitan, called out popular Nigerian singer, Dbanj on Twitter. She accused him of sexually assaulting her some year ago. She did this admist the sexual assault cases making the rounds then. Dbanj denied the allegations the lady made against him. Earlier this week, the lady was said to have been arrested by Dbanj with claims that she falsely accused him. Seyitan was later released by a group of feminists who felt she was being intimidated by Dbanj. After her release, she was allegedly abducted by Dbanj's manager and is being held captive in his house.

Many Nigerians including celebrities didn't take this news well as they took to Twitter to air their thoughts on the issue. They blamed the police and Dbanj for trying to intimidate the young lady who spoke up after she was assaulted. Tiwa Savage, Donjazzy, Rita Dominic and MI Abaga really had a lot to say. I personally feel that the action taken by Dbanj's manager is totally wrong. No matter the degree of authenticity of the lady's claims, she doesn't have to be abducted and intimidated to say otherwise by Dbanj and his manager. She has a right to speak up about the injustice meted out on her. This is an abuse of power by Dbanj, his manager and the police. We all hope Tiwa Savage, Rita Dominic, Donjazzy and MI Abaga who have spoken up, take an action to make sure the lady is released. If her claims are true, she deserves justice.
