Man Who Acted Jesus In "Passion of The Christ" Was Struck With Lightening While Delivering His Role

Have you watched "The Passion of The Christ?" If you haven't I would implore you to do so. The movie which was premiered in 2004 was one of the blockbuster movie that gross over $600 million for Mel Gibson, one of Hollywood's renowned actor and film producer/director with it's lead actor named Jim Caviezel. That's him in the picture below




Sources close to the ace film producer has it that there will be another release of the movie but this time it will be concluding part of the movie titled "The Passion of The Christ Resurrection". I believe this one movie will be a remarkable one and will surely gross over 1 billion dollars after it gets premiered.







Now back to the movie "Passion of The Christ" Jim Caviezel who acted Jesus Christ delivered the timeless message of loving one’s enemies on the Sermon on the Mount.

Do you know that the actor (Jesus) was famously hit by lightning while reciting the “Love your enemies” lines in Aramaic.

I feel while all the acting was going on our God in heaven might be taking notes and the lightening was a message sent from heaven. That wasn't ordinary but a real lightening that got him (Jesus) struck while delivering on his lines.






Do you also know that the crown of thorns placed on Jesus' head were real ones that got him bleeding, even the whips that was used to flog him were actually real ones that caused injurious mishaps on the body of Jesus... Hmmmm... Those whips that were used actually dealt the actor ungodly pain from a flogging that went wrong. It was unbearable to watch, I was even shedding tears while watching that part.








I also read somewhere where it was said that the actor who acted Jesus (Jim Caviezel) had to sit at the makeup chair from 2:00 AM well until around 10:00 AM so hair and makeup artists could put makeup on him and apply single strands of beard hair that would make him look like a proper messiah. What? 8 hours just to look like the real Jesus? Wow!








In addition to what I read the actor had to work several days with one eye cosmetically shut to make it look swollen. This was for scenes where Jesus wore a crown of thorns as well as for the rest of the Stations of the Cross sequences.

Now check this out! The said actor Jim (Jesus) didn’t have to go through dieting in order to be fit for the role but he did undergo rigorous training to play Jesus. Still, his training proved inadequate to play one of the most popular carpenters the world has known.

While filming scenes of the walk to Golgotha, the actor had to carry a 150-pound wooden crucifix. Although he was able to do that through most of the filming, one of the Roman soldiers who was supposed to catch the crucifix failed to do so in a scene where Jesus falls to the ground. This resulted in dislocated shoulders, some slight mouth injuries, and an almost crushed skull all caused by the immensely heavy and burdensome cross. (Eeya)..







So towards the end where Jesus' hand was to be nailed to the cross he was spared from having his hand accidentally nailed to the wooden cross. But while filming the crucifixion scenes, the actor — clad in just a loincloth — he had to soldier against severe winter winds. Really devastating state to be.






There are no accounts in scripture as to whether Jesus himself suffered from anything else other than getting his side pierced before he passed on. Meanwhile, the actor who played Jesus in a movie lived to tell that he was afflicted with lung infection and pneumonia. Yes, he did suffered lung Infection but was properly treated because of the traumatic conditions he had to pass through while acting out his roles.
