1. BREAKING: Nigeria Records 627 New Covid - 19 Cases, 12 Deaths.






According to the result released by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on 12th June, 2020, Nigeria recorded 627 new cases and 12 deaths were recorded in the country as well.


Meanwhile we now have the total number of 15,181 active cases, 4, 891 discharged and 399 deaths.

According to NCDC, the 627 New Covid-19 cases were reported from 23 states out of the 36 states in Nigeria.

2. First Lady, Aisha Buhari Cries Out As Police Detains Her Staff.




Nigeria’s First lady, Aisha Buhari has called on the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, to release her assigned staff.

According to report Her staff was detained by the FCT Commissioner of Police under the instructions given to them by the Chief Security Officer to the President, Mr Idris Kassim, and Sabiu ‘Tunde’ Yusuf.

The detaintion was as a result of what happened in the Presidential House on thursday as they were trying to settle the issue of Sabiu ‘Tunde’ Yusuf going under isolation after returning from a trip to Lagos.

Meanwhile The First Lady through her official Twitter account has called on the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, to release her assigned staff.




We hope that her staff will be released in no distance time, as she has called on Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu.

3. Two Pastors Died of COVID-19 In Delta —CAN.




According to report from The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Delta State, they had lost two pastors as a result of coronavirus.

Meanwhile The Delta CAN Chairman who is also the Special Adviser on Religious Matters to Governor of Delta state, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, has warned the church that they should not pretend that Covid-19 is fake or that it is over.

4. Mothers with COVID-19 can breastfeed newborn –WHO.

The World Health Organisation said on Friday, that a mother should breastfeed her newborn baby even if she has a suspected or confirmed case of the deadly virus known as Covid-19.

They also said that, the benefits of breastfeeding outweigh any potential risk of tramsisiom of Covid-19.
