Tribute to gallant female soldier, Oluwatoyin Ogunleye who died while defending her nation

Oluwatoyin Ogunleye was a gallant soldier who died while fighting Boko Haram in order to maintain peace in this nation.

She graduated from Tai Solarin College of Education before joining Nigeria Army in 2013. She was a fearless, resilient gallant army officer who was ready to die for this nation, despite her gender.

She quoted; "If I die, I die!"

Unfortunately, the young gallant female officer, Oluwatoyin Ogunleye died four years after joining military forces.

She fought the Islamic group with all her might, but she was captured and later killed by this deadliest group in Baga, Borno state.

She deserved to be remembered for her bravery. She was a rear gem to Nigeria Army. The news of her death broke the heart of her family, friends and also Nigerians.




Let's take a minute and say a prayer for her.

"May her soul continue to rest in peace."

This is what our gallant soldiers are facing in the hand of our enemies. Many have lost their lives in the process. But unfortunately, they died like fowls, because they are not celebrated or remembered for their bravery. But if it's celebrities or people with high profiles, you will see the news everywhere on social media.


We shouldn't forget that without our gallant soldiers, this nation will never be a peaceful place to live.

So please, let's support our brothers and sisters in Nigeria Army as a way of showing appreciation.
