⚽ EPL Golden Boot: Danny Ings makes a case

The English Premier League golden boot race is hitting up with no player in the top five ready to let go.

After Jamie Vardy, Aubamenyang and Salah all netted in the game week, Southampton’s Danny Ings was not to be left behind as he rescued a point for his side on Thursday night against Everton.

The goal at Goodison Park takes his tally to 19 in the season; the same outing as Salah who doesn’t seem to be regressing anytime soon.

Vardy still tops the chart with 22 goals with Arsenal captain Aubameyang being at 20. Below Ings is the injured Sergio Aguero who is at 16; the same as Salah’s teammate Sadio Mane who started on the bench on their Wednesday win over Brighton.


Manchester United duo of Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford are both on 15 goals together with Wolves star Raul Jimenez and they will be hoping they can increase that tally before the season ends as everyone looks to achieve their personal best outings.
