"He's the Best Midfielder in the world" - Fans react after Wilfred Ndidi breaks new EPL record

Super Eagles of Nigeria Midfielder Wilfred Onyinye Ndidi was in-form of his life on Sunday, as Leicester City were defeated 2-0 by Manchester United at King Power stadium.





The Red Devils opened the scoring through Portugal superstar Brono Fernandes via a penalty kick in the 71st minutes, before England star Jesse Lingard doubled United lead in the 90th minutes to make it 2-0 in favour of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side.



TWo Nigerian stars, Wilfred Ndidi, Kelechi Iheanacho and were in action for their teams.

Ndidi and Iheanacho started for Leicester City, the former played the whole 90th minutes while the latter was substituted in the second half.



On the other hand, Odion Ighalo was introduced in the 90th minutes of the game to replace French star Anthony Martial, as his side beat the Foxes 2-0, to qualify for the UEFA champions league group stage next season.





According to the stats released by the English Premier League after the end of 2019/2020 season, it shows that Wilfred Ndidi has now won the best tackler in the league for the record three times.
