Ex vice president and formal presidential candidate for the People Democratic Party, (PDP) Alhaji Abubakar has finally reacted to the death of Nigeria's first-ever female combatant helicopter pilot, Tolulope Arotile.






He made this known on his official Twitter account not long ago as he allegedly shared a photo of the deceased pilot who he tagged as the most promising pilot that Nigeria has ever had.

He wrote:


"Tolulope Arotile was an inspiration. She shattered the ceiling and will always be our number one, may her soul rest in the bosom of the lord, and may the Almighty God grant the Arotile family and all her loved ones the heart to bear the loss".

Tolulope who was commissioned into the Nigerian Airforce September 2017 was said to be first-ever ever female combatant helicopter pilot. She died on the 15, July 2020 after sustaining a fatal head injury from an auto crash in Kaduna state.
