What This Girl Makes with Used Tyres Is Absolutely Amazing - See Photos & How She Makes Them

Favour Oluma is an interior designer. Hers is not into buying and selling interior decors from China and American but uses locally made materials to create beautiful and amazing designs.

She practically turns ordinarily used tyres which are somewhat environmental nuisance to a nation into beautiful household furniture. From living room sets to mirror stands, tables, parks and recreational seats, her art is simply amazing!






Above is a table made from a used tyre with tinted glass. According to Favour, the tinted glass can also be replaced with a mirror top.


Below is the procedure she uses in making her wares which anyone can follow and help recycle these wastes into useful home decors.

Stage 1. She gets a used tyre.






In the first stage, Favour gets a used tyre, wash and cleans it thoroughly, making sure it is free from dirt and all sort impurities that may interfere with the adhesives or gums she will apply around it if she wants to wrap it.

Stage 2. She designs a fitting top or glass depending on if she wants to make a table or a chair with it.






Stage 3 - She decorates the tyre with arts






In this stage, she decorates the tyre with different kinds of art, she either wraps it with another stylish material or paint the tire with a different color entirely, depending on what she wants.

Stage 4. She puts everything together and the work is ready for use.
