Manchester United and Sevilla meet again on Sunday, Check their head to head meetings

Manchester United were very lucky in their previous game against Copenhagen as they narrowly escape with a one (1) nil win against a very good side Copenhagen.


Truly, Copenhagen gave Manchester United a tough time as they held Manchester United to a full time goal less draw. United were lucky to hit the back of the net once and it was enough to seal their victory and to take them to the next round and next opponent in the Semi final of the Europa League competition.


Thanks to the goal scored by Manchester United January signing from Sporting Lisbon; Bruno Fernandes, who has been up and consistent in taking the responsibilty of penalty spot kick for the team. Bruno Fernandes has never missed a penalty kick in Manchester United, with his deceiving skill that often sends the goalkeeper to the wrong side.

Wolverhampton and Sevilla had to battle for the next round of the competition to face Manchester United. Sadly for the English team, they were defeated by Sevilla of Spain by just one (1) nil also.


Sevilla which finished 4th in the Spanish laliga table and booked the ticket for next Season's champions league narrowly won Wolverhampton in their quarter final tie.

And now, Manchester United are to face Sevilla on Sunday in order to book their ticket in the final. The last time these two great teams met was in Champions League tie during the era of Jose Mourinho now coaching Tottenham Hotspur.

The Spanish side, Sevilla happen to go through the next round of the UEFA Champions league competition that season as they eliminated Manchester United at Old Trafford.




Manchester United and Sevilla have met three times so far. Sevilla won two out of the three. Manchester United only saw one draw and two defects from Sevilla.
