"If anything happens to my brother, Lagos will burn" - Lady whose brother was arrested during protest

The peaceful EndSARS protest in Surulere, Lagos State, on Monday, October 12, 2020, ended in tragedy as men of the police force started shooting at the protesters and some of the protesters were arrested in the process.




Popular Nigerian singer, Ikuforiji Abdulrahman Olaitan professionally known as Oxlade, who was also in the protest sustained injury in the protest while trying to run for safety. However, his manager, Ojabodu Ademola, largely known as Ojah B, was unlucky as he was allegedly dragged on the floor by men of the police to the station.

Videos of Ojah B being dragged on the floor by men of the police surfaced online which led to reaction from Ojah B's sister. Fisayo Ojabodu, who is the sister to Ojah B took to her verified twitter page to warn the Governor of Lagos State that nothing must happen to her brother. She stated that she watched the video clips of how the police officers dragged his brother like a dog.

She also disclosed that lawyers are also in the station but they are not allowing them to have access with her brother. She warned Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu that if anything happens to her brother, Lagos State would be burnt down and she would be the one holding the match stick. However, Oxlade released a tweet saying that they are currently taking Ojah B to Kpanti police station.
