The Democratic Republic of Congo is a country that is very rich in natural resources . Almost every valuable natural resource can be found in Congo.


Natural minerals such as Coltan, gold, copper, cobalt, tin ore and diamond are being mined in the republic of Congo.

However with all the resources and natural wealth, Congo is an underdeveloped nation, with high unemployment rate, lack of social amenities and poor standard of living. Congo's natural resources has turnout to be it's curse.

Congo is being attacked from the east by its neighbouring countries Uganda and Rwanda. This two countries are known to be receiving military support from developed countries, who are interested in exploiting DR Congo's rich natural resources.

The eastern part of the country is being terrorized and hijacked by Rwanda militas due to the incompetence of the current leader.

He and his cabinet are stealing the nations wealth, while little or nothing has been done about the killings in the eastern part of the country.

International companies who are buying this resources also have their own share of the blame, as they in the process are enriching the militas who are keeping the people in bondage.
