Davido, Tekno, Dremo And Yemi Alade React To Desmond Elliot's "Social Media" Statement

Social media is buzzing over the social media bill/statement tendered by Desmond Elliot.Desmond Elliot,a Nollywood star and politician representing Surulere constituency,in the Lagos State House of Assembly has been trolled by Nigerians for working against freedom of expression on social media.




The young politician was seen in a video,during a plenary in the State House of Assembly saying, "there will be no Nigeria in five years to come,if we don't regulate social media". The young politician also called on social media influencers to desist from instigating violent in the nation.





Desmond Elliot is of the opinion that,social media should be cracked down to sustain peace and unity in Nigeria.This is coming as a result of the #EndSARS protest which began on twitter,before it became violent on the streets.





This statement/bill from Desmond Elliot didn't go well with most of our celebrities,as they reacted to his statement.They blasted him for playing "money" politics at the expense of the youths.

Davido reacted by saying, "Desmond Elliot just destroyed all the precious childhood memories he gave us in the movies".
