Governor Obiano Sacks Special Assistant On Security As Anambra Protesters Demand Justice For Chijioke

The Ongoing Nationwide protest in Nigeria is one of its kind ever since the existence of the country. The youths have taken to the Street to declare that "Enough is Enough". There have been different locations across the federation where protesters are demanding for an end to police brutality. One of their demands also is justice for the innocent citizens who have been extrajudicially killed by men of the Special Anti- Robbery Squad (SARS).





The People of Anambra were not left behind as they took advantage of the protest to demand justice for the death of Chijioke Ilonaza and others who have been extrajudicially killed by former SARS officer, CSP James Nwafor. CSP James Nwafor, Popularly called OC Sars in Akwuzu has been fingered in so many killings of innocent youths in Anambra.






However this time around, the youth decided to storm the Government house and refused to leave until the Governor address the issue of the former CSP. The retired SARS officer, who is currently the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Obiano on Security has been sacked after much pressure from the protesters.

The Governor of Anambra state, Obiano has come out to address the protesters in front of Government house and assured them that the Special Assistant on Security, James Nwafor has been sacked with immediate effect, and will be handed to the force for Investigation.
