See What Femi Otedola Said About The #EndSARS Protest, That Really Got Nigerians Talking

Nigerian youths embarked on a peaceful protest tagged #EndSARS to demand the disbandment of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad(SARS) unit, as well as, other reforms in the Nigerian Police Force (NPF). What started out as a peaceful demonstration by thousands of youths, degenerated into chaos after the protests were hijacked by hoodlums.

The hijacked protest is now characterized by the heavy presence of security personnel on the streets of Lagos, mob attacks on security personnel, killings, and vandalization of public and private properties.



Femi Otedola was born on 4 November 1962, he is a Nigerian businessman, philanthropist, and former chairman of Forte Oil PLC , an importer of fuel products. Otedola is the founder of Zenon Petroleum and Gas Ltd, and the owner of a number of other businesses across shipping, real estate and finance. He has recently invested in power generation as part of the liberalisation of the sector in Nigeria.




DJ Cuppy is the daughter of Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola and the older sister of Temi Otedola.




Several days ago, DJ Cuppy was quarantined after she had exposure with an infected COVID-19 patient. DJ Cuppy spends most of her days in the United Kingdom and Nigeria.




When the protest was ongoing, she had to quarantine herself to protect herself and other protesters. Two days to the end of her quarantine, she expressed how happy she was to be joining other protesters.




Femi Otedola had expressed how sad he is with the horrors that have been unfolding in the country.
