France National team played against Portugal National team in their UEFA Nations League A Group 1 game and it ended in a goalless draw. France used their best eleven but they were not just able to conquer Portugal who also used their best players that perform well in their respective clubs.
Prior to the game, Portugal was placed first on the table with 6 points from 2 games, France were placed second with 6 points from 2 games.




The game started with both sides displaying amazing performances. Portugal showed early dominance, but later they lost possession to France who tried to find the back of the net.
Inside the first 20 minutes, the Portuguese striker, Cristiano Ronaldo tried to give his team and early lead, but his shot was seen blocked by a defender.
Despite the determination of both team to grab all three points, the first half ended in a goalless draw.



France used the 4-3-1-2 formation, with both Olivier Giroud and Julian Mbappe in front.

At the start of the second half, both teams pushed for a goal but all efforts proved abortive. Despite the boring game due to no goal from both sides, the gesture Mbappe and Ronaldo showed was topnotch.
