Throwback story of the lady who died for two years in her house, and no one knew about it.

This is the story of a British woman who was dead for two years, and no one noticed it. Joyce Carol Vincent is a British woman, who was born on October 19th 1965. She grew with her older sisters, because her mother died when she was eleven years old. Her father died in 2004 not knowing his daughter has long died before him.



Joyce worked in several places to earn a living, but the sad part of it was that, she began to distance herself from family and friends. She was in a relationship but it was abusive so she ended it. On November 2003, she was rushed to the hospital after she vomited blood, and she was diagnosed of peptic ulcer but was later discharged.

The sad part of the story was that, she died around December 2003 in her apartment and no one noticed she has been dead. She died sitting on her sofa, with the television on. She stayed in the same position for years, with the television on. When she was found, they couldn't recognize her because she had turned to skeleton, but her television was still on.



Her neighbors said the foul smell from her apartment, was thought to be coming from the waste bin around the corner. The cause of her death was suggested to be asthma or peptic ulcer, since she is asthmatic. Her body was found on January 26 2006, after forceful entry into her flat.

She owed rent and the authorities came to check on the house, and that's how they found her. Tho her rent was paid automatically by automatic debit payment, and that's why no one noticed she had died.



It's not good to cut ties with friends and families, no matter the condition. You need people to keep check on you especially when you are sick..
