Manchester City continued their poor performance since the start of the 2020/2021 Premier League Season with one win from three games. In their first game, they won 3-1, in their second game they played home with Leicester City and lost 5-2 and in their third game, they drew 1-1 with the newly promoted side, Leeds United.

The newly promoted side continued their impressive performance with one win and one draw from three games. Since Manchester City lost their last match, fans thought they would bounce back with a win against Leeds United, but this was not so.





Raheem Sterling put the away team in front in the 17th minute after he converted a fine cross from Ferran Torres. The visiting team tried to double their lead before the first half break, but unfortunately they could not.


In the start of the second half, Leeds stole the game as they displayed a powerful performance against Manchester City and in the 59th minute, Rodrigo leveled the score line to be 1-1.











Both teams struggled for a win, with Leeds United showing more of the commitment but the match later ended in a 1-1 draw which saw both teams share one point each.






Despite the fact that Raheem Sterling scored, she was called out by a fan who said Manchester City is not going to win anything this season so long as Raheem Sterling is still in the club, adding that he should leave. Other fans said that Leeds United played better than Manchester City and they out the blame on Pep Guadiola, telling him to go back to Barcelona.
