"Nigeria won't forget you" - Fans react to Mesut Ozil's statement about Police brutality in Nigeria

Arsenal football club of England star Mesut Ozil has also joined a lot of people in the world calling on the Nigerian government to put an end to the Special Anti Robbery Squad known as SARS from the Nigeria Police Force.

A lot of Nigerians have been killed by the FSars, and the youths have started saying they can't take this any more, and that's what prompted them to start protesting across the country, before the Nigerians in diaspora started joining the movement that the FSars Department from Nigeria Police Force needs to be ended.


The matter get worsen on Saturday, when a young boy known as Jimoh Isiaq was shot to death during a peaceful protest in Ogbomoso in Oyo State, by some policemen, and this has made many international bodies to be calling on Nigeria President, Muhammadu Buhari to answer Nigerian youths.


Footballers like Antonio Rudiger, Fikayo Tomori, and Tammy Abraham of Chelsea, Marcus Rashford of Manchester United, Alex Iwobi of Everton etc have also reacted to the End Sars protest before Mesut Ozil joined on Sunday.



Mesut Ozil posted on his verified Twitter handle on Sunday that it's so horrible to hear what’s going on in Nigeria, and he urged the people to make the topic trend together.

Nigerian have now started reacting by praising the former Germany international for his statement, and they said Nigeria as a country won't forget him for his statement.
