Youths In Ekiti Have Taken The Protest To Another Level, Checkout What They Did That Got Reactions

For over a week now, youths have been protesting that SARS and police brutality should be ended. With the way the protests started, people thought it would not last this long but surprisingly, the protest has even gained international recognition.

Youths in Ekiti took the protest to another level when they stormed the state House of Assembly and carted away with the signpost. To them, it was a show of their anger against police brutality and SARS.







It is quite surprising why they would vandalize government property in such a way. This act by youths in Ekiti drew mixed reactions from people. While some people commended the youth on the nefarious act, others scolded them for violation government property.

With the way the protest is going, some people are now taking advantage of it to cause havoc. Destruction of property is not what this protest was meant for in the first place. Also, if you destroy government property, the government will still have to use tax payers money to renovate it and that money should have gone into better projects if the youths had not destroyed the properties.
