"Always check the agreement form before paying rent"- Man narrates his ordeal with his landlady

The war between a landlord/lady and their tenants has always been around for a long time, hence the introduction of an agreement form.

The agreement form serves as a legal tender in the case of a serious fight between the two entities, with one claiming a breach in the agreement.

While this agreement form has come into play to give tenants an idea of the does and don'ts obtainable in living in a particular apartment, it is said that some tenants or landlords do not take the signing of this form seriously, until it begins to cause problems.


A man has narrated his ordeal in the hands of his Lagos Landlady who allegedly collected rent from him before giving him the agreement form.

After he tried to collect his money and other dues, it seemed as though he could not because she alleged that she had used the money already for her business.


After the hell he went through in her hands, as he described in his post, he left the house after spending just 6 months.

This should be a lesson to all to always check the agreement form of a house before paying rent.
