A Group Of Market Women Cried Out After Being Scammed By ATLAS Initiative Scheme Of Their Money

It's sad how these scammers go about scamming people and living large at the expense of their victims. It's so unfortunate, that criminals have come up with different tactics, they use in scamming people of their hard earned money.

Recently some people cried out of being scammed online by a Ponzi scheme Wazobia Investment Platform, which they met online and they have websites registered and are using the sites to scam innocent individuals, who are trying to make ends meet for themselves. They would ask people to activate their accounts with N1,000 and ask they they begin investing from N10,000 to N1MILLION and after 3, 7 and 14 days respectively as they invest, they would be making 50% of their investments. Many people got scammed and some have not come out of their loses now.






In a trending video on December 14,2020 were seen some market women crying and asking that Nigerians help them in apprehending these scammers, who promised them loans after asking them to part some amounts before they could access these loans, that they have promised them.

They said the loans ranges from N100,000 and above, if you want a loan of N100,000 you will be asked to pay N16,000, for N200,000 you will be asked to pay N32,000. One of the women said that their association of 300 traders paid this initiative called "Atlas Initiative Scheme" N16,000/each (N4,800,000 - Four Million, Eight Hundred Thousand Naira) while another group says they have so far given this scamming initiative N250,000 (Two Hundred And Fifty Thousand Naira), they all have them in cash.






They told them that disbursement of their loans would be effected December 1,2,3 and 4th 2020 but haven called their numbers severally, their numbers were no longer going through, they had to all come down to their office, only to find the place locked up and no one to talk to. One of the women says that they usually come to collect the money from them, every Tuesday but since the time to collect was close, they began misbehaving. The incident was said to have happened in Ado, as said by the first woman who was interviewed. I believe that to be Ado-Ekiti, the capital of Ekiti State, Nigeria.
