"Boko Haram Did Not Show Up With Guns So We Thought They Meant Good" - Says Governor Umara Zulum

Just of recent, there is a news about the 43 farmers killed in Borno state. Bahama Umara Zulum who is the governor of the state has throw more light on the incident of that day. People shows different kind of reactions when they hear the news.






Governor Umara Zulum, Bahama Umara Zulum has throw more light on the incident that happened. This was shown in a video which was shared by BBC Pidgin when the governor was interviewed. The Governor of Borno State, himself has experience this kind of incident, Boko Haram terrorist has attacked him early this year but he was able to escape.


The governor of Borno State, while speaking in the course of the interview, he said the Book haram terrorist didn't appear with guns which made them think they meant good for them but regrettably, the situation turned opposite of what they thought. After a brief discussion with them, they killed the farmers just like slaughtering of a cow.




In the course of the interview, Bahama Umara Zulum was asked how many people died from the attack but he replied that the funeral of the deceased was done yesterday which he attended, that he saw Thirty-four (34) dead bodies but was told more corpse are yet to be recovered.



He further said that people of the community mention to him that the affected persons were 43 on that day.
