'Bus is better than train'- People React To price Tag Of Train From Lagos To Ibadan

Recently the price for train travelling from Lagos to Ibadan and vice versa was revealed. Many people have reacted to the new price of the train as it is not in favour of some of the citizens living in the urban areas.






During Good luck Jonathan's reign, the price for train travelling from Lagos to Kano was 3000 Naira but now the cost from Lagos to ibadan now is 6000 Naira.

The price was announce by the federal government. The train tickets cost for Lagos to Ibadan for economy seat is 3000 naira, the business class seat is 5000 Naira and the first class seat is 6000 naira.

Comparing the cost price for the train and that of bus travelling from Lagos to Ibadan. Cars collect 2000- 2500 Naira from each passenger and bus drivers collect 1500 Naira for every person in the bus.







From the price listed above, it is clear that the price of bus and cars is far more better than that of the train. People are wondering if the price of train should be more than that of cars and buses.

So many awaited the launching of the train to ease transportation and to reduce their expenses,but the situation seems to have been reversed.The price for the economy seat alone is also higher than the cost for cars.
