(Video) A White Lady Accused A 14 Years Old Black Boy Of Stealing Her iPhone, Read What Happened Next

Black American jazz trumpeter, Keyon Harrold took to his Instagram account to reveal what a white lady accused his son of doing after they lodged in a hotel. Mr Harrold and his 14 years old son lodged in a New York City hotel, they left their room to have lunch and they encountered a white lady who was searching for her iPhone in the hotel reception.

The 14 years old son of this trumpeter was holding his iPhone when he walked past this white lady and she turned to him and accused him of stealing her iPhone, she told the young black boy to give her the phone in his hands because it's her own phone that he stole. The father of the boy quickly swung into action and pushed back the lady who was already intimidating his son, he warned her to stay back because his son didn't steal her phone. The lady refused and kept on shouting that it was his 14 years old boy that stole her phone and she must collect his iPhone to see if it is her own.

The manager of the hotel intervened and instead of him to tell the woman to leave their guests alone, he started to advocate for the white lady, telling the boy to bring out his phone so that the lady can check if it's her own. This didn't go down well with his father and he warned his son not to bring out his iPhone because no one has the right to call him a thief.

According to the post, this white lady who accused his son of stealing her phone wasn't a guest in the hotel at that time, she checked out of the hotel 3 days ago and she came back looking for her phone. The lady was furious because the father of the boy was protecting him and didn't allow the manager or herself to touch the phone, she decided to use force, she tackled and grabbed the man in an attempt to get to his son but the father of the boy pushed her back with force and fell on the floor.

Mr Harrold and his son walked back into their room. Moments after the incident, he got to know that an Uber driver had returned the missing iPhone back to the lady, she was the one that misplaced her phone. The white lady left the hotel without apologizing to the 14 years old boy and his father, the hotel management also wanted to sweep the matter under the carpet. The police came, filed a report and told them that they would have to wait for 3 days before they get any update about the harassment they just faced.

The video went viral with over 900,000 views and Black Americans were angry with the management of the hotel, they claimed that the trumpeter and his son were treated that way because they were blacks. They stormed the social media pages of the hotel and dragged them for employing a manager who isn't ready to defend their black guests. They threatened to boycott the hotel and everything they own if they don't sack the manager of the hotel.

After much pressure, the hotel management released a statement and they apologized for what the jazz trumpeter and his 14 years old son faced in their hotel, they didn't say anything about sacking their manager and this triggered black Americans again.
