Few Hours after he was reportedly arrested and wounded, Sowore gets support from Nigerians on twitter

The news of the alleged arrest of human right activities, ex-presidential candidate and the leader of the #RevolutionNow protest, Omoyele Sowore has gone viral.





It was reported by media house, Sahara reporters that Omoyele Sowore and others who were part of the staged protest tagged as "Cross over with protest" were arrested by the Rapid Response Squad team in Abuja. Omoyele Sowore was also reportedly wounded.





The staged protest as displayed on Sowore's official twitter and facebook pages took part in Abuja, Kaduna and Ondo state.







While the news of his arrest has gone viral, Users on twitter had begin a trend known as "Free Sowore" , Calling his release while also slating the Nigerian Police and Officials in what seems to them as an illegal arrest to them which cannot be justified.
