“I Am A Yahoo Boy And I Am Proud Of It” - Man Declares As He Tags EFCC Official Twitter Account

A man who goes by the name @OluwaStunna_YSL on Twitter took to his page to declare himself a Yahoo boy, a popular term used in addressing Cyber criminals in Nigeria.

The man who declares himself a cyber criminal went as far as tagging the official Twitter page of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) the law enforcement agency responsible for investigating financial crimes like money laundering. They are known for arresting and arraigning Yahoo boys in Nigeria as well.





Cybercrime is probably one of the biggest problems in Nigeria and the Government is trying to arrest the perpetrators. Meanwhile, a man has declared himself a Yahoo boy and even went as far as tagging Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for them to see.


His tweet has sparked a lot of reactions and here is one of the notable comments by his followers. A Twitter user who goes by the name Xerxes reacted by saying “The funniest part of this tweet are in the performative disgust Nigerians are showing.

Same people who know plenty yahoo boys and some are even their relatives. The same ones who will beg yahoo boys for money.
