School resumption might be postponed as Governors' forum meet

Nigerian's hopes of school resumption may quench down due to the latest hit of the global deadly virus that is moving around all over the world. Nigerian Federal Government and State Government are believed to be doing everything possible to eradicate the spread of the deadly virus that is affecting the nation and world at large.

It could be recalled that early this year the federal government has approved 18th January, 2021 for schools resumption within the nation. But because of the spread of the coronavirus some states are yet to open their schools, eg Kaduna state. This is due to the fact that it is not yet safe for academic activities to fully resume.

The Nigerian Governor's forum has scheduled today 20th January, 2021 for their board meeting.

The meeting is to finally find out the best and lasting solution to the Covid19 pandemic. Also the meeting will finally determine as to whether schools should resume in general or schools should be closed down in general due to the global pandemic. As a popular known saying says; prevention is better than cure.
