Company will include new crypto operations in Nigeria- Luno CEO tells coindesk

It is no longer news that the federal government through the CBN banned cryptocurrency in Nigeria. CBN regulations has stopped bank from facilitating payment for crypto exchanges. They also ordered Banks to close account of crypto traders.


Crypto exchange trading platform are been forced to disable naira withdrawals and deposits.

On Wednesday, Luno CEO, Marcus Swanepoel in an interview with coindesk TV, said the company will never go around regulators, that the company is including peer-2-peer crypto operation in Nigeria.

According to the coindesk tweet via its official Twitter account "@LunoGlobal CEO Marcus Swanepoel says the company will never go around regulators, including peer-2-peer crypto operation in #Nigeria."

P2P allows verified customer to trade directly amongst themselves.
