Final Details Emerge of the Lady Who Killed Her Boyfriend for Refusing a Sleepover

Susan Gakii has been the talk of the town after she allegedly stabbed her boyfriend to death for refusing to sleep with her after an evening date.

According to the police report, 42-year-old Martin Kahiga had taken Susan out and spend the better part of the Saturday evening together. After the date, the suspect requested the victim to escort her to her house located at Pole pole market center in Chogoria town

When they got to Susan’s place, detectives probing the matter note that Martin stayed for a while then requested to leave since it was getting late. However, Susan requested him to spend a night opining that it was already late.

The victim insisted that he had to leave and that is when a heated argument ensued between them with Susan demanding that he must stay and sleep with her. The enraged woman thereafter grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed the victim in the chest.




“This led to a confrontation. Gakii, thereafter, picked a kitchen knife and stabbed Kahiga in the right side of his chest,” read part of the police report filed at Chogoria Police Station.

After being hit by the reality of what she had done, Susan is said to have stabbed herself in the stomach in a desperate attempt to kill herself.

However, the confrontation between the two had already attracted the attention of three neighbors; Glory Mwende, Winjoy Gatwiri, and Martin Mutuma who broke into the house after Susan refused to open the door.

They were taken to PCEA Chogoria Hospital where Martin was pronounced dead on arrival. Susan however, is recovering well and waiting to be discharged to answer to murder charges.

“The suspect’s condition is stable. We will interrogate her after she’s discharged from hospital,” a police officer said.
