'Our relationships're good' - Sarri claims there's no rift between him & Ronaldo

Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri has claimed there is no rift between himself and star Cristiano Ronaldo.

'My relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo is good,' he said in a pre-match press conference to Juventus' Champions League clash with Atletico Madrid on Tuesday.

'If a player who has won so much is angry about being substituted it means he still has a lot of motivation, and this is something positive.'

Ronaldo missed Juve's 3-1 win over Atalanta at the weekend through injury but Sarri is uncertain of his fitness ahead of Atletico encounter.

'Yesterday, Cristiano trained with his team-mates. It seems that his condition is improving but we still have to evaluate between today and tomorrow,' he added
