My dream is to win the Premier League with Arsenal!

Xaver Schlager had hardly any difficulties in adapting from the Austrian Bundesliga to the German Bundesliga - until an ankle fracture put him out of action for 80 days.

In the meantime, Schlager is fit again and fought back to his regular place before the winter break. Schlager himself was surprised that the healing process went so quickly, as he explains in an interview with Sport-Bild. And in the interview he also revealed his football dream is "being an Arsenal player".

"To play at Arsenal once," Schlager says. The club he has supported since the 2006 Champions League final - although the Gunners narrowly lost the final against FC Barcelona.

"After that I became an Arsenal fan," Schlager recalls. "Playing in the Champions League and becoming Premier League champion with Arsenal are high goals. But it has to be that way, so I can always work on myself and I'm never satisfied."
