Reactions As Nigerian Governor deducts N30,000 As 'Pocket Money' For Students In State University

The Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu has left students of Abia State University, Uturu, in awe after deducting N30,000 as pocket money from their school fees. This is coming after the students of Abia State University, Uturu made a request to the governor to deduct from their school fees N30k as pocket money.


The Governor has shown great concerns for them, and have directed the University's management that all students of Abia Origins should have N30,000 deducted from their school fees as pocket money. This news waa revealed on the official Twitter handle of the governor and has been met with lots of reactions.

Lots of people expressed their happiness that the governor listened to the students, and guaranteed their request. The governor also said it his tweet that his administration will continue to listen to the students and do everything necessary to ensure the students excel.
