Davido whose real name is David Adeleke is a multi award winning singer, songwriter and arguably one of the biggest artistes in Africa. Ever since he got into the limelight with his hit song "Dami duro" he hasn't for once relented in the industry as he keeps making good music and winning awards. In the music industry when two big artistes collaborate together a hit song is always expected but this does not happen in most cases. Here are 5 Davido collaborations with big artistes which turned out to be nothing but a flop.






1.Davido ft Simi "Maga to mugu"

Off his Son of Mercy 5 track Ep in 2016, Davido collaborated with talented singer and vocalist "Simi" on a song titled "Maga to mugu". During this period both artistes were having a good time with their career as any song released by either if these two was a hit. Unfortunately "Maga to mugu" fell below standards and many didn't even listen to it let alone the song becoming a hit.




2.Chris Brown ft Davido "Lower body"

After the massive success of their first collaboration on "Blow my mind" where American singer Chris Brown dropped a dope verse for Davido while the OBO took the chorus and another verse. Brown called him up again for yet another collaboration on a song titled "Lower body" but the Davido performed poorly on the song. Chris Brown killed his verse as usual but Davido sounded wack like no other on the track. Fans were disappointed that their second collaboration didn't turn out well.





3.Ycee ft Davido "Baseline"

A collaboration between talented rapper Ycee and singer Davido was one which fans have always longed for but unfortunately when they did they both disgraced each other with their average lyrics and vibe. Ycee featured Davido on a track titled Basline and the track was highly anticipated but came out as a flop. Many criticized Davido saying if it was Wizkid who took the chorus he would have done better than that.





4. Davido ft Tinashe "How long"

Davido features American Rnb Singer Tinahse on "How long" in order to get some international recognition. A nice video was even shit to push the song and probably make it a hit. However in streams and stats the song didn't do well even though both artistes delivered well on the song.





5.Vector ft Davido "Comfortable"

One of the best rappers in the industry Lanre Ogunmefun popularly known as Vector decided to work with Davido on his album titled "Vibes before Teslim". Their song "Comfortable" was highly anticipated but unfortunately came out and didn't perform well. Davido tried his best but Vector flopped on the song therefore the song faded away very quickly.

Despite all this ups and downs Davido kept working hard and he's regarded as one of the biggest artistes in Africa today.
