The Arsenal squad are continuing their period of self-isolation as the coronavirus pandemic shows no sign of slowing down.


After a meeting between all Premier League clubs last week, games have been suspended until the end of April at the very least, with no indication of when the remaining fixtures can be fulfilled.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta tested positive for the virus several weeks ago, but the Spaniard is said to be recovering well.

As Arsenal's players continue to self-isolate inhere wake of the coronavirus outbreak, Gunners duo Sead Kolasinac and Mesut Ozil took some time out to play their favourite video game.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta tested positive for COVID-19 last week, which led to authorities suspending all matches in England until the end of April.

The Premier League initially postponed games until 4 April, but after a meeting between all 20 clubs last week, the decision was made to push a potential start date back to the end of the month.

With the Arsenal squad yet to return to the training ground, Kolasinac and Ozil were spotted enjoying some down time by live streaming their progress on the popular online game Fortnite.
Arsenal and Mikel Arteta sent William Saliba warning

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has been warned that William Saliba still needs to improve further and will not necessarily solve their defensive issues immediately.

The Gunners signed the highly-rated defender from St. Etienne last summer, where he has remained on loan for the duration of the 2019-20 season.

Saliba will return to the Emirates Stadium this summer, where the expectation is that he will become an immediate starter - with Arteta eyeing RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano as his ideal partner.
Premier League set date for next meeting

The Premier League will resume talks about the impact of the coronavirus at its next club meeting.

Officials are backing the European Leagues, the body which represents over 900 different clubs in 32 professional leagues, as working groups at FIFA and UEFA hold further talks in the coming week.

It has been reported that the Premier League is scheduling a plan which involves games resuming from June 1, which will be played behind closed doors, which would allow the 2019/20 campaign to be concluded by August 8 - the weekend that would have seen the 2020/21 season kick-off in normal and usual circumstances.
Arsenal 'handed three ways' to complete Antoine Griezmann summer transfer

Arsenal have been informed of three ways they can sign Antoine Griezmann from Barcelona this summer, with the Catalan giants ready to cut their losses.

The France World Cup winner moved to the Nou Camp from Atletico Madrid last summer, contributing eight goals and four assists in 26 league appearances.

With Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez in the squad, Griezmann's role in the side isn't as defined as it was previously for him at Atletico and Real Sociedad.
