I Met a University Friend, and She Offered Me a Ride in Her Car, But What She Did Was Surprised Me

I met a friend of mine from University, and we were very happy seeing each other, after many years. My car had earlier broke down and was at a mechanic's shop.



Then she offered to give me a lift in her vehicle, I wanted to get into the front seat only for her to tell me that, i should sit at the back, which Surprised me cause there wasn't anyone at the front sit neither was there any shopping bag or goods.



I got in, but I later asked her why I had to sit at the back, she responded by saying that her husband must not see or hear that a man was sitting in front with her while she was driving.





It seems like a very hash condition, but if we want to be honest, a lot of married women are living with similar conditions in their marriage everyday but they can’t speak out because they know it’s better to be married in bondage than to be single and free. It’s almost impossible to be married to a Nigerian man and still be a feminist.
