Dani Ceballos makes final decision on Arsenal career

Arsenal signed Dani Ceballos on loan from Real Madrid in the summer, beating off Tottenham Hotspur in the race to the Spanish Midfielder's signature. He joined to much fan fare and has at times shown why with his performances and at other times underwhelmed.

Dani Ceballos has however found play time not as regular as he'd want, with Lucas Torreira, Granit Xhaka and Mesut Ozil all preferred over him when they're all available. Ceballos hasn't exactly made a case to be a regular starter as he's been hugely inconsistent.

Arsenal were said to be however keen on extending his loan deal to next season, with the hierarchy not convinced to make his deal permanent. Spanish Valencia based Journalist, Hector Gomez has now reported that Dani Ceballos is not interested in an extension, with a lack of game time proving a major reason. He's said to be interested in a transfer to Valencia C.F in the La Liga.


Arsenal may now have to turn to other targets to boost their midfield options, either on a permanent basis or another loan deal.
