Fans react as Super Eagles midfielder John Ogu donates money for surgery of Basketball player

Super Eagles midfielder, John Ogu has donated #350,000, which is the needed amount for surgery of one basketball player named Deborah Onah. 

The request for help was tweeted by the handle @titansbasket, claiming that one of their own is down with tuberculosis of the spine and needs a financial support of exactly #350,000 for the cardiovascular surgery. 

Meanwhile, Super Eagles midfielder, John Ogu who recently moved to Saudi Arabian side, Al Aladah responded to the tweet by saying, he is ready to render assistance by depositing the total amount needed for the surgery. 

Deborah Onah is a SS3 student, who schooled at GSS KARU ABUJA, played basketball as a sport. She has played various competitions like the Milo basketball championships, Power Forward, Dream Sports Africa and FCT angels in the under 15 category. 

However, Nigerians have showered praises on John Ogu for rendering help to Deborah Onah with the surgery fee.
